Large Thistle Topped silver pin brooch has a Celtic interlocking motif underneath and a clan symbol below that. On the clan symbol it says: HOC MAJORUM VIRTUS On the back it is marked, SCOTLAND, 44, and a "C" or "E". I am not familiar with marks for Scotland. This piece appears to be silver plated over pewter. Measures approximately 3 7/8 x 1 3/8 inches. Excellent condition. Shipping is $2.00 for 1st class,delivery confirmation.
