Reduced from $40.00! This is a heavy and well made sterling tie clip. It has a design that refers to folkloric Mexican motifs but with a modernist simplicity. Background oxidation makes the design stand out clearly. It has a heavy-duty back that looks like it will last forever. The mark JLF stands for Jose Luis Flores. Women could wear this as a scarf or lapel clip. Marked Taxco, JLF, 925, Eagle 3 mark, 826. Excellent condition. 1 3/4 x 1/2

pre-eagle, probably from the early 1940's, this set reminds me of a Margot design.
Approx 16 inches, with a hook closure, each link is attached with rings to provide flexibilty. The 4 center pieces with dangles measure 1&1/4 inches long. Hallmarked "Sterling, Taxco, 10". The earrings, which are the same dimensions as the middle links with dangles, have been converted to pierced, so there are no hallmarks. There is one tiny flattened area on one earring.
