This lovely vintage Mexican silver was made by Taxco silversmith, Ocampo. The set is made from repousse sterling silver, and weighs a total of 85 grams. The necklace is 16 3/8" long x 3/4" wide, the bracelet is 8" long x 3/4" wide, and each screwback earring is 1 1/8" long x 3/4" wide. The set is in excellent condition and each piece is hallmarked "M Ocampo Taxco Mex 925".

This stunning vintage bracelet is a great example of repousse work which is becoming a true lost art. It is 3 1/2" wide in front tapering to 7/8" wide at the hinge closure, and has an interior 7" circumference. It has highly detailed scroll and ball designs, and the hinge is extremely taught. It is in excellent condition and is hallmarked "Sterling". It is heavyweight (74 grams) and has comparable work to Villasana.

Measures 7 1/2" in wearable length and 1 1/4" wide. Marked simply SILVER MEXICO, this bracelet is a good example of the early 20th C tradition of Mexican Silver Jewelry. Possibly made in Mexico City, this bracelet has elements tat are reminiscent of the early designs of Fred Davis. A lovely vintage piece, a pleasure to wear.

This contemporary piece by Agnes Seebass is simply gorgeous. Her description is of "forged elements with texture". Agnes uses silver 950 (higher than sterling) to manufacture her pieces. Heavy early Los Castillo Metales Casados collar necklace. This is a solid, heavy necklace made of sterling and bras. The Metaes Casados or Married Metals was mastered by the talleres of Los Castillo and Ana Nunez (Victoria/Cony). The technique used to make these pieces required patience and dexterity. This heavy weight (60 grams) chain bracelet was made by Taxco silversmith, Miguel Melendez. It is 8 1/4" long x 3/8" wide and is hallmarked "Sterling Hecho en Mexico" with the Melendez hallmark. This piece originally had a safety chain attached, but the ring attachment is broken on one side. This does not affect it's wearability, and could be professionally reattached if desired.
