Not for the timid, this massive sterling silver ring weighs 306.5 grams (9.9 ounces)!
It has a fabulous flowing design and is by the Bayanihan jewelry company. Based in Massachusetts, it was started in 1974 by a gentleman who had worked for the Peace Corps in the Philippines. The word Bayanihan means
a spirit of communal unity. Measuring 1 1/2 inches across the top, the ring rises about 3/4 inch above the finger. It's a size 7 1/2. If you like big, bold, bodacious jewelry that is bound to spa... Click for details

Early sterling silver cuff bracelet by the late 50's Modernist Jules Brenner(1917-1991) of New York, Woodstock and later Provincetown. There is a raised piece with 3 segments of twisted silver wire. Will fit up to about an 8" wrist because it can be adjusted. Can be worn by a man or a woman. Nice patina and excellent condition. This sterling silver bracelet is made of one piece of heavy gauge wire terminated with two silver balls. The design is reminiscent of Norwegian designer Anna Greta Eker. Marked STERLING, the piece weighs a hefty 263 grams (8.4 ounces!) It is 1 1/2 inches wide and has some flexibility to make smaller or larger but it is roughly 5 1/2 inches inner diameter (excluding the opening). Very attractive and substantial but comfortable and in great condition.

WOW! This is a gorgeous, LARGE necklace. The metal appears to be silver, but is not marked, and has a wonderful lustrous patina. The amethyst and quartz colored stones are charoite, I believe. Charoite is a quartz-like mineral discovered near the River Chara in Eastern Siberia in 1978.
The eight stones are all hand set and the setting is hand chased.
