Very interesting and gutsy sterling handmade pin by the famous modernist, Sam Kramer(1913-1964), c.1950. Unique and dimensional, it has an applied silver design atop a round disk. Signed "STERLING mushroom mark", it is in excellent condition. Of generous size and very heavy gauge silver, it measures 2" in diameter and 1/2" high. Modernist handmade necklace signed "SAM W. GRAVES STERLING", c.1950's. It combines an art deco and Native American feel in an interesting geometric chevron design. Not certain, but I believe that Sam Graves was a contemporary of Frank Patania and H. Fred Skaggs, working in the southwest. This hollow silver necklace shows a high degree of craftsmanship. Striking geometric modernist design matte enamel on brass pendant, Germany, c.1950's. It measures 1 5/8" by 1 1/2", not including the bale and is in excellent condition. This kind of enamel work was done in Germany during this time, but there is no signature. Rare sterling cuff by modernist Caroline Gleick Rosene, San Francisco, c.1951. It is very difficult to find this silversmith's work. Signed "ROSENE HAND MADE STERLING" and is in excellent condition except for a missing small silver ring that is easily replaceable. Made of heavy gauge silver, it is 1 1/4" wide and is 7 1/2" inside circumference. Rare handmade large scale sterling cuff by the famous NYC modernist, Paul Lobel(1899-1983), c.1945. Original design combining flat silver outlined in decorative thick silver wire. It is signed "LOBEL STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Of good size, it measures 1 1/2" wide and the inside circumference is 6 1/2" and will fit a medium wrist. Large and generous handmade sterling and cornelian modernist necklace, Israel, c.1950's. It has a geometric design and each silver piece is hand hammered, ending in a cornelian drop. There is a paperclip chain that forms the very back of the necklace and can adjust the length. It is signed "ISRAEL 925" in 3 places and is in excellent condition. 1960s modern design sterling silver ring with intertwined loops, one smooth one with lava-style bubbled surface. A nice solid ring, it is size 6-3/4, and measures 5/8" wide. Marked COL and STERLING, but we haven't identified the maker. This ring is in excellent condition, with no dents, cracks, wear, repairs or damage. Very original handmade modernist designed 800 silver bracelet, France c.1950's. Beautiful hand hammered silver is signed with the "crab in lozenge(French 800 silver mark) and a maker's mark in a lozenge". The locking device opens with the flexible band.
