This is a very sweet small Georgian paste stones brooch. The clear paste stones have tiny dots in the centers to give depth to the stones. Setting is silver with a C clasp and pin. Probably French in origin, and is quite striking for a small brooch.

A terrific and very rare pair of Directorate period silver and tortoise pique earrings in the Egyptian style. Jewels in the Egyptian style became popular when Napoleon returned from his campaigns along the Nile in 1798. Each earring features an oval tortoiseshell plaque molded with a frontal view of the Great Sphinx of Giza. The pharaonic headdress and beard are inlaid with silver. Rare Wedgwood and Bentley jasper cameo silver mounted ring, circa 1779, depicting a gentleman in profile. The oval pale blue medallion is layered with white between the black ground surface upon which the profile sits. The reverse is inscribed “Wedgwood x Bentley”, a mark used from 1769-1780, when Josiah Wedgwood partnered with Thomas Bentley to establish a factory named 'Etruria' for making ornamental wares. This is a fabulous comb featuring a garland of stars in cut steel! A tortoise comb holds the star tiara in place. It measures 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide.
