An unusual and scarce sterling silver reliquary pendant locket with fine basse taille enamelling c1900. This 1-1/4" x 7/8" purse style locket features a small chain for wear suspended from a chatelaine or bracelet and it features turquoise or robin's-egg blue enamel on one side (the other is unenamelled and is embossed). This is a gorgeous Victorian Bohemian garnet pendant with chain, c. 1880. The pendant has wonderful graduating drops and comes with a gold filled chain (16 1/2" long) of the period. The firey pyrope garnets are set in gold over silver. The pendant measures 1 7/8" (from the top of the jumpring) x 7/8" and is in excellent condition with no missing stones. There is a small repair visible from the back only (see photo). See my other items for the matching pin.

Large and lovely example of a Victorian, Scottish agate brooch with a buckle motif. It is set with beautifully hued Montrose grey agates in various shades and striations. In excellent condition, this is both a brooch and a pendant and is two inches in diameter. The silver framing the stones is engraved throughout and all the stones are in tact and well matched.

This is a very unusual Victorian piece. It has tested silver and has a touchmark on the clasp which is very difficult to read. The marcasites have small claw settings - and the enameled medallions have a flower in the center of each, are surrounded by gold, and have gold backings. The brooch is exquisitely made and has a French appearance to it. I believe the piece may have some significance, but not sure what it could be. ... Click for details
