A vermeil (gold over silver), genuine amethyst and pearl bar brooch, circa 1900. Hinged straight pin with secure clasp on the back. The pin is centrally bezel set with an oval faceted amethyst measuring approximately 8.70 x 6.70 x 4.80mm. Estimated weight of the amethyst is 1.70ct. Victorian Silver & Gold Plated Locket Bird & Hand c1880

This is a lovely period Victorian picture locket pendant, c. 1880. The central panel is silver with a hand holding a bird. There are two red cabochon glass decorations. The exterior border is gold plated with an elaborate design. The back is plain and the interior still retains its two picture glass covers. The locket measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/8" (excluding the jump ring) and has a 1/4" depth. Condition is very good.

Victorian English sterling floral locket pin, Birmingham. 1888. Decorative design with raised floral flowers in pot surrounded by a lovely border and place for photo in back of pin. It is signed with 1888 marks for Birmingham sterling and maker("AJS") and measures 1 3/16" in diameter. Has "c" clasp. Unusual 19th century enamel on silver mourning locket, depicting a memorial urn, with keepsake compartment back. What makes this piece so fascinating is the enamel work – it’s drawn in blue, with black and white accents -- on a bright PINK ground! A wonderful, distinctive piece! Measures 1 ½”. Very good condition; a few spots of rust or discoloration at the edge (at 11 o’clock and 6 o’clock); glass in locket back is a little loose. New silver chain.

1927 Chased sterling Scottish agate dirk with jasper,cairngorm, and light grey agate with brown striation. The latter stone's edges are a bit rough but is only noticeable when using a loupe. Lovely chasing. Faint mark C&R ? with appropriate hallmarks. Old c-style clasp. 3/8" x 2".

This unusual pin measures 2 1/2" long x 3/8" wide and is made from sterling silver. I has 5 small glass turquoise cabochons and the reverse has an old "C" scroll closure. One cabochon (second from the nail end) has a chip on it's surface, but it is not noticeable except by touch. Other than that, it is in very good condition and the reverse is hallmarked "Sterling".
