This well designed 14Kt white gold estate ring is centered by a 6X4 millimeter emerald cut natural sapphire. The center stone is flanked on either side by five full cut diamonds. The approximate weight of the center sapphire is 0.60Ct, while the approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.10Ct. The ring is a size 7 and can easily be sized.

A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.

Fine work, quality piece.

Lovely vintage signed Mikimoto brooch in sterling silver set with eight pearls, ranging from 5 to 6mm. The pearls are of very fine quality with white body color and a silvery overtone. The lustre is excellent, as should be expected of Mikimoto. The brooch is designed in a way that permits it to be worn either horizontally or vertically. The back is marked with Mikimoto's hallmark.

Origin: Japan, latter half 20th century. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1-15/16" x 1-1/8"...

Stunning Taxco modernist sterling silver pendant necklace this set seems to borrow stylistically from both Antonio Pineda (in its use of the black velvet cord) and the Los Ballesteros workshops (in featuring that huge gemstone). The signature it bears, however, attributes it to a listed yet still unidentified Mexican maestro whose work I have had before but about whom we don't really know that much...

A very interesting pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. The cufflinks were made in France and were available only in Tiffany’s Paris boutique. Each face is formed as a square knot instead of the more traditional knots often seen in cufflinks. The solid connectors are marked with French 18K hallmarks and also “Tiffany & Co.”

A pair of Victorian rolled gold plate dangle drop earrings from the 1890s. These well-made hollow 1-3/4 x 1/2" earrings have an applied bow and four swinging drops each. They are screw-backs and they are unsigned. The backs are rose gold coloured and the earring itself is yellow gold and they may be the original backs (screwbacks were introduced in 1894). This lovely pair is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

A lovely double-sided 18K yellow gold and beveled crystal porte-photo (“photo carrier”), the gold rim simply decorated with a bound reed design in the Louis XVI style. It is cleverly constructed with a hidden screw mechanism that allows the gold frame to expand so the crystal covers can be removed for adding or changing the contents. Double-sided porte-photos were often used to display a photo on one side and a tiny lock of hair or a memento such as a pressed flower on the other...

These elongated silver cuff links are set with cobalt blue spinels, enhanced with an applied silver wire. Each bridge bar is marked for .835 silver; the anchor bars are decorated with engine-turned engraving. All connections and both hinges are intact and show no stress; there is a tiny nick on the underside edge of one cuff link. They date from the 1950s and measure about 1 ½ inches long by ½ inch at the widest part.

This is a vintage pair of sterling silver pari-mutuel tote tickets, an exact replica of a $100 bet-to-win ticket on the 7th horse in the seventh race from Hollywood Park thoroughbred race track on July 7, 1957; very fine detailing, marked on the back with makers mark of Fenwick & Sailors, F & S and STERLING:; Measurements: 15/16 in. high x 11/16 wide. An impressively large 18K yellow gold Venetian Etruscan fob charm or pendant in a crown shape set with large oval amethysts enhanced with smaller round amethysts. The gold surfaces are enhanced with twisted wire, rosettes and beading. The amethysts have very rich, deep violet coloring. Marked “750” for 18K.

This fine brooch can also be worn as a pendant. It features a large/bold green chalcedony, Aztec mask, set in decorative sterling silver. The back is marked HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING 925 (with a space then a letter after the 5). It is stamped with the assay mark with 28 in the middle (sometimes used by Bernice Goodspeed).
