Distinctly Egyptian Revival in its inspiration, the set of Mexican Deco dangle earrings at hand reminds me very much of elements in Margot de Taxco's "Cleopatra" parure; more specifically, the feathers of the "vulture crown" the pharaoh is wearing. More stylized in our case they are here involved in an elaborate knot forming sculptural dangles that hang off the sweetest repousse rosettes...

This whimsical silver pin, possibly formed as a French horn, features a bell made of amber. The amber is in very nice condition, without scratches or wear. There are silver marks on the pin stem that look to be Russian, but they aren’t clear enough for a definite identification. The rollover clasp is very secure, and tests for silver, as does the pin stem. The pin measures about 2 inches long, from the mouthpiece to the bell, and 1 1/8 inches wide. Gross weight: 11 grams

Molten caramel golds and shimmering coffee browns are reflected in warmly mellowed silver in this modernist Mexican pendant necklace with neck ring. Very Scandinavian in design, necklaces of this type are not very common in the world of vintage Mexican jewelry and I consider myself even luckier to have come upon this exquisite example because it is also a pre-1980 creation...

This is an unusual ring that is a crossover between American Colonial and English Victorian. The ring has as its face an actual $2.50 Liberty coin from 1861 but is wrapped in a polished 18K English mount. Minted from 1840 - 1907, our American Liberty coin ring with the authentic gold USA Gold Quarter Eagle was originally legal tender worth $2.50. This was a substantial amount of money at the time of minting in 1861. The USA Liberty Gold Coin is 90% pure gold and weighs 0.1209 troy ounce...

Beautiful emerald cut medium shade translucent amethyst in 14K yellow gold deco setting with 6 diamonds on each side of the amethyst. Total estimated t.c.w. is approximately 20 pts. Ring size 7, can be resized by competent jeweler. LAYAWAY AVAILABLE!

A very pretty 14K gold and pink sapphire solitaire ring. The oval brilliant-cut sapphire has a nice raspberry pink color that shows well in the high cathedral-style setting. The sapphire has very good clarity and does not show indications of any heat or other treatment. The shank is enhanced with white gold floral elements on either side of the sapphire. The interior of the shank is marked “14K”. The ring would be perfect as a colored stone engagement ring.

A handsome, classic pair of Art Deco cufflinks with octagonal green chrysoprase plaques mounted with 18K yellow gold to chrysoprase torpedo backs. The gemstones have natural color (not dyed) and excellent translucency. The faces are slightly concave and are finished with a beveled edge. The connectors are stamped with European hallmarks for 18K gold.

Origin: Europe, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: faces, 9/16” diameter; torpedo backs, 3/4" long. Weight: 4.2 grams.

The is gorgeous fruit salad unfoiled marquis rhinestone pin and earrings has an explosion of color- amber,gold,orange,green Austrian rhinestones.

The pin is 3 1/4" long by 1 3/8" by 1". The clip on earrings are 1 1/4" long.

They are in excellent condition.

c 1930 not commonly found hand made sterling silver articulated pin in a fan and dangle basket design marked "Lillian Pines" and Sterling. She was a contemporary of Mary Gage. Ms. Pine's store was in New York City's Madison Avenue from 1930’s- 1950’s. Similar piece can be seen in Paul Somerson's chicagosilver.com site. This remarkable ring is a size 6.25. It is a sterling silver, amber ring, circa 1970s. The sterling silver, textured setting "grabs" the large amorphous amber gem. It is marked STERLING. It has good heft (1/2 oz) and is in excellent condition.

A sterling silver artist signed hinged bracelet in a modernist design with a second layer of abstract shapes. Marked P L Garré, for Phyllis L. Garré (1920-2018), a self taught artisan who started her third career of jewelry making in Washington state. Also marked Hand Wrought Sterling and 181 which may be a style number.

Measures approximately 7" around and 1 1/4" at the widest. Weighs 52 gr. Has a secure slide in tongue closure and a safety chain...

This lovely 14K yellow gold and diamond butterfly trembler brooch seems ready to fly away because of a fluttering wing design created by a spring mechanism between the wings. Finely executed openwork wings with scroll banding, diamond body and antenae, 585 stamped on back, safety-style clasp. Wt: 8.8 g; Measures 2" long x 1 3/8" wide. Excellent condition.

A 19thC hand-carved shell cameo in a gold filled pendant/pin setting. This 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" brooch features the Eros and Psyche scenic cameo, and the pin has a flip-up loop and safety catch. The cameo dates to c1900 and the setting appears to be a bit later (c1920). This item is in excellent condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than an internal flaw in the shell at the top (doesn't show through the back of the cameo)...

Circa 1960's - 70's, this Carmen Beckmann cuff pulls out all the stops. It's an exceptional bracelet which I have not seen before, and believe to be very rare. Seven Mexican fire opals of varying sizes are at front and center. The stones are magnificent, and have flashes of green, orange, blue, and purple. Framed on each side with a raised abstract silver shapes with oxidized recesses. Measures 6" inside edge to edge, with an additional gap/opening of 1 3/16"...

This Trifari sterling alfred Philippe jelly belly spider pin is sterling vermeil,with rhinestones and lucite. It was designed by Alfred Philippe in 1943. It is 2" by 1 7/8". Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.
