Early handmade sterling silver bracelet(c.1930) and ring (c.1940) designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Both pieces fully hallmarked. Each is hand forged from heavy gauge sterling silver with a hand tooled rope design. The cuff bracelet is 6 1/4" from end to end with a 1 1/4" gap. It's 1 1/2" wide at the terminals tapering to 3/4" in the center, 49grams, 1.7oz. Fine vintage condition. One small nic on inner edge near marks (see picture)...

This charming pin, made of .800 silver, is formed as a spray of delicate flowers within a wide vertical leaf. The leaf is enhanced with a textured surface. The pin is possibly Russian-made, based on the maker’s mark on the S-clasp; there is an .800 mark on the pin stem as well as what could be an Eastern European import mark. It measures 3 1/8 inches long by 5/8 inch at its widest part.

A Regency period rolled gold plate mourning locket with enamel c1835. This 1-5/16" locket features an engine turned design on each side, a watch-style bale for hanging from a chain, pin or chatelaine, and it has a removable central compartment for hair or a memento. The front is hinged and swings out to reveal the contents, which are under bevelled glass (a curl of brown hair and woven black fabric)...

A wonderful vintage 14K yellow gold charm featuring a gem-set heart and key. The symbols are an acrostic puzzle for "Key to my heart." The heart is bordered with rubies and centered with seed pearls. The head of the key is set with a ruby, a sapphire, and an emerald. The background is enhanced with a satin finish and the disc's edges have a rope border...

A very rare early pair of double-sided cufflinks, the navette-shaped faces centered with Persian turquoise cabochons surrounded by borders of rose cut diamonds set in silver. The faces are joined with 15K yellow gold chains. Diamonds in Georgian jewelry are nearly always set in silver, as they are in this case. The silver’s light color brings out the glitter of the rose cut diamonds and also nicely accents the rich color of the turquoise...

A fine pair of vintage 18K yellow gold earrings in the Venetian Etruscan style. Each earring features a 1.52 amethyst cabochon surrounded by smaller cabochons. The gold surfaces are enhanced with an intricate pattern of wire- and bead-work, and the edges are finished in a zigzag pattern. The earrings are marked with Italian hallmarks. The backs have omega clips, but posts could easily be added.

This is a Pair of STERLING HECTOR AGUILAR EARRINGS from a Virginia Estate. The Size is 7/8" X 1 1/8" with Screwback Construction. Designed as MUSHROOMS with AMETHYST QUARTZ pieces prong~set atop. This vintage 1960-s 14Kt yellow gold oval locket is in excellent condition. The front has an oval flower design around the oval polished center. The back is plain polished gold. The locket measures 7/8” high without the bail and 5/8” wide.

This late 19th-century hinged bangle is a real beauty. It’s made of 14-karat gold, set with 18 half-pearls that are enhanced with cobalt-blue enamel. The back of the bracelet is simply decorated with a raised, thin gold band that terminates at both ends with a figure-8. Both rims have recesses along the edges all the way around. The tongue and groove clasp is very secure; a gold security chain with a spring-ring catch is a later addition. The maker’s mark of MC&Co...

Round two-sided cuff links ringed with inlaid cobalt blue enamel in a scalloped decoration and a central engraved grid pattern. They are well made with a nice heft; connecting rings and bridge bars are secure. Some of the grid pattern has worn off, as shown in the photos. Each button measures 5/8 inch in diameter. There appear to be worn marks on the connecting rings; the bridge bars are marked 800 to indicate silver content. Weight: 8.9 grams total

Very cool sterling silver cuff bracelet made in 1971 in Sweden. The interior is smooth, and the exterior is textured. The light hitting the soft lines makes the piece apears always in motion. Hallmarked and signed: "GK," V9, Sterling, Sweden." Adjustable. 1.75" at the widest.

Fabulous early statement size YSL bracelet in heavy cast goldtone metal with "molten gold" stones in sculpted settings. Marked YSL and MADE IN FRANCE. Late 1970s or early 1980s, designed by Robert Goossens, who has designed jewelry for decades for Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and other couturiers. This Los Castillo early hallmarked necklace was designed by Margot Van Voorhies when wed to Antonio Castillo. Together they started the shop Los Castillo. This is one of the most stunning designs in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. The length is 18 inches long and a fraction over 1.75 inches tall. The weight is 239 grams being hand made balls in the centers and hand chased swirls to the tops. The end piece of the swirl is repousse giving it a unique depth to the design...

These great Billiken earrings havea gold nugget "navel." They are suspended by screwbacks that are marked 1/20 12K GF with a maker's mark I cannot make out. The Billikens themselves measure 5/8" x 1". They are in excellent condition. They could be a possible match to my Trocadero item #771672. They would also make great charms if removed from the screwbacks.

These 1920s cuff links are beautifully enameled in dark blue on a white ground; elaborate carved designs show through the enamel. Each button is edged with embossed sterling silver scrolls. Embedded vertical silver lines run down the center of the white ground and frame the blue diamond-shaped reserves. The bridge bars are secure and show no signs of metal stress; they each bear the maker’s mark C.Q.&R. for Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington (1899-1930s), of Attleboro, MA ...
