A fabulous antique garnet five strand beaded necklace with a garnet decorated slide clasp. Circa 1900, from a Philadelphia estate, and I also have listed a garnet hinged bangle from this same estate. The metal tests positive for 9KT gold with jeweler's acid. The large stones in the clasp are each about 5 mm in diameter, and the tiny stones are 2 mm. The garnet beads are each about 4 mm in diameter. Substantial at 112 grams; I counted 497 beads. Very wearable, for day or evening...

Stunning necklace with very large opaline glass beads simulating moonstones, and very large colorless faceted crystal beads. Probably French, circa 1960. Outstanding construction; all the beads are wired with heavy brass wires. Fabulous French Art Deco beaded rope necklace with beads made of glass, glass based faux pearls, antiqued brass, carved stone, and composition or celluloid. Circa 1930 or 1940. From the estate of a serious glass collector. I've owned many of these necklaces, in rope and bib form. All the beads are wired on brass wire. Continuous strand, 18 inches wearable length. Early Elsa Schiaparelli bib necklace in goldtone metal with glass drops in a classic French color combination of red, blue, green, and topaz. Circa 1940. Marked SCHIAPARELLI in script. With a hook clasp and rope twist extender chains. The metal elements are decorated with delicate engraved designs. Wearable length is 17 inches. 1 1/8 inches wide. Excellent condition. This lovely charm or pendant measures 1" x 3/4". It's greenish-blue basse-taille, enamel background brings out the red Pisces fish sign beautifully. It's set in sterling vermeil. The back is marked with the David Andersen scales maker's mark, D-A, 925 S, NORWAY-STERLING. It's circa 1950's and in excellent condition.

This beautiful necklace is pictured on page 137 of "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" by Cathy Gordon and Sheila Pamfiloff. It has seven clusters of genuine red coral spezzati, turquoise glass beads, and brass bell shaped caps, attached to a brass braided chain, with a spring ring clasp and extender chain. Each cluster has a large turquoise bead at the top, and three turquoise beads at the bottom. The turquoise beads have painted detail simulating the matrix in turquoise stone...

A possible early unsigned Chanel in black glass, brass and with a glass faux pearl in the center of the pendant, this piece is marked MADE IN FRANCE on the back of the pendant. Circa 1935. The pendant slides on the chain, which has oblong links and stations with black glass beads and filigree metal elements.
