A vintage 14K white gold navette-shaped cocktail ring, set with round brilliant cut diamonds and round blue sapphires. The diamonds are I/J color and I1 clarity. The sapphires are graded as medium-dark blue color and eye-clean clarity. The inside of the shank is stamped 14K.

This handsome cross pin (that also has a bail to double as a pendant) is by circa 1970. It has a geometric design of copper and onyx inlaid with sterling silver and turquoise. It has 3 layers: the top is the copper, that is skillfully cut for the inlay; the next layer is the onyx and the bottom is sterling...

American modernist jewelry sterling mask brooch

This moonstone necklace and/or choker has great detail, with foliate accents. It sits on the neck very nicely, with its style. It is sterling silver with lovely, moonstone cabochons surrounded by applied leaves. It is a Navajo / Native American / South Western piece. The chain is 15 1/2 long. The back is marked STERLING with the maker's mark clearly show a D. The other letter is cut off (see pics). It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This impressive 2 3/4" sterling silver cuff studded with 30 amethyst cabs was hallmarked c. 1940 by Manuel Altamirano, senior silversmith in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. Interior length measures 5 1/2" end to end. The gap opening is 1 1/2". Terminals measure 2 3/4" wide, center front is 2 1/2" wide. Weight 79 grams. The bracelet is in beautiful condition. See p. 198 of Silver Masters of Mexico for more detailed information on Altamirano. Pieces signed Altamirano are scarce.

One platinum on 18K yellow gold and diamond Edwardian brooch. The brooch consists of a pierced top set with Old European cut diamonds and melee rose cut diamonds in a geometric pattern. The twelve Old European diamonds have a total weight of 1.20 carats. The clarity is SI1 and the color is H-I. The thirty nine rose cut diamonds have a total weight of .50 carat. The brooch has a hinged straight back with side clutch closure. The piece measures 2" long by 7/8" wide. The condition is excellent...

Measuring 27" long, this 940 sterling silver & copper necklace was designed c. 1940-50's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). The center disc is 1 1/2" wide graduating to 1/2" at the back. Weight is 124 grams. Beautiful condition & patina. Each disc is connected to the next with a silver rivet giving the design fluid movement. Signed TAXCO HA 940 eagle #9. A similar necklace is pictured on p. 140 of Silver Masters of Mexico by Penny Morrill.

 

Fabulously drapable, flexible and wearable necklace by the Italian brother and sister team of Lyda Coppola Toppo and Bruno Coppola. They worked for many French and Italian designers, including Jacques Fath, Robert Piguet, Emilio Pucci, and Valentino. This piece is circa 1970. Aqua faceted glass beads are connected with fine filament, and bordered with rows of glass based baroque faux pearls, and draped with festoons of metal chains in a rose goldtone color...

A delicate Edwardian 14K yellow gold bangle bracelet set with square cut amethysts and pearls. The gemstones are separated by openwork gold in an interlaced heart pattern that lends a very lacy quality The use of amethyst is somewhat uncommon in a bangle from this period. The interior bears the 14K gold mark for Alling & Co.

A fine and attractive Edwardian gold plated satin finish sash pin with a step-cut amber glass stone c1900-10. This 2-7/8 x 1-7/8" pin features engraved leaves, a mesh layer with a mounted stone and a c-clasp. It is marked simply R on the cage for the pin, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs - the plating is intact and there are only slight signs of use...

A masterfully crafted, meticulously finished frame of sterling lily pads accented with tiny beading and elegant little wire swirls surrounds a flat-top amethyst gem in the vintage studio ring I am presenting here. This type of silver-work and the specific foliate motif is easily identified as created by Mary Gage, one of the most talented - and indeed most eccentric - silversmiths of the late American Arts and Crafts movement...

This vintage sterling silver and 14Kt yellow gold belt buckle was made by the famed Santa Fe silver smith and jewelry maker Douglas Magnus. The fully hallmarked western design buckle is very unique, and it is in very good condition. The buckle that measures 1 7/8” long and 1 ¼” wide and will take a 1” wide belt. A very unique hand wrought sterling pendant and chain with an amethyst drop.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" across and 2" high. Chain measures 18" long and has a secure hook closure. The opening is oval shaped so the hook will not slide out.
