A lovely 18K yellow gold, diamond, and ruby love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out “Plus qu’hier, moins que demain” (“More than yesterday, less than tomorrow”), a line from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of “Cyrano de Bergerac”) in 1889. In 1907, the Lyonnais jewelry Alphonse Augis created a love token based on the poem. His designs changed over time and this piece is a classic example from the 1960s...

The pendant on the necklace is not original to the piece, however all pieces are marked with the TF Fahrner logo, 925. The 15" necklace is also marked ORIGINAL FAHRNER.Pendant measures 1-1/2", screwback earrings, 1" x 1-1/2".

A vintage modernist sterling silver necklace with a central bezel set amber jewel. The necklace is made from curved sterling with chain at each end. It is marked 925 for sterling. Measures about 16" around. Hard to measure exactly due to the curvature. Has a secure box closure with a safety clasp.

The central pendant part measures 2 1/2" long and 3/4" at the widest. The amber has natural swirls. The design of the pendant is not symmetrical giving it a more interesting look...

Very glam statement making vintage sautoir with huge amber or tortoise color Lucite beads wired and mounted in goldtone metal. Top quality and very substantial. Great to wear alone or layer with other similar sautoirs. Circa 1970 or 1980. 44 inches long and 7/8 inch or 22 mm wide. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. This fine 3-piece set consists of cuff links and a tie bar / clasp. They are sterling silver. Each abacus has beads that actually move - are mechanical. They are 3 dimensional. The cuff links measure, 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/8". The tie bar is just under 2" long. Each piece is marked SILVER STERLING MADE IN HONG KONG. The set is circa 1970 and in excellent condition.

One of the most talented Taxco maestros, Gerardo Lopez was exceptional in the art of repoussage and his jewelry is sought after and avidly collected for its quality and inventive motif combinations. I have suggested in the past that he must have worked for the Los Castillo and / or Margot de Taxco because many of the motifs he uses are also found in the famous workshops' creations...

These fine cuff links have a diameter of 3/4". They display an abstract character: a J or a P? The backs are marked LEONORE DOSKOW HANDMADE STERLING. The toggle findings are also marked STERLING. The cuff links are in excellent condition, circa 1950s-1960s.
