This Los Castillo is one designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Don Antonio Castillo that unhooks and also doubles as a brooch. The matching chain and the drop is repousse and hand carved on top. The drop / brooch measures 3.75 inches tall with a width at it's widest point of 2 1/8th inches. A rare sterling silver bracelet with teardrop shaped bezel set amethyst cabochons from the workshops of Antonio Pineda in Taxco. In this version, the amethyst is completely encased in a sterling outer teardrop.

The bracelet measures 7 1/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a secure box clasp. Marked with a partial Pineda Crown. Has some tarnish and minor signs of wear. The stones feel smooth with no chips or roughness. They have natural inclusions.

Dating 1930's - 40's, this amethyst bracelet from Fred Davis pulls out all the stops. The repoussé silver work is superb. Twelve amethyst cabochons alternate up and down on the leaf panels, with oxidized recesses making this a standout piece. It drapes over the wrist with a silky feel. Two(2) pendant necklaces made of brass and silver by the famous NYC modernist Ed Wiener. One of the necklaces is signed:"ED. WIENER" and they are in excellent condition. Each concave disk has a free form applied silver wire and bead design. One pendant measures 2 1/2" and the other, almost 2". They are each hanging on sterling chains, 30" and 19". A nice pair of vintage 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed as a pair of discs joined by a diamond-shaped reserve. Each of the discs is engraved in a starburst motif, while the reserves feature oval star sapphire cabochons. The sapphires have good translucency and even, grayish-blue coloring. The stars are very distinct, bright and well-centered. The backs are marked "14K".

A very fine pair of Victorian figural cufflinks worked in 14K yellow gold. The front faces are in the shape of ceremonial Scottish halberds. The shafts are set with round and antique cushion cut rubies and the heads are set with rose-cut diamonds. The rubies have nicely saturated color that contrasts well with the glitter of the diamonds. A pretty Victorian 14K gold locket, the cover featuring a lion rampant with a shield. The edges of the locket are worked in an ornate rococo design that is mirrored on the large suspension ring. An elegant Victorian snowflake pendant worked in 14K yellow gold and set with old mine cut diamonds. The overall effect is very delicate with a lot of sparkle. The center diamond is approximate .33 carat and is graded as I/J, I1; the other diamonds, each .10 carat are I/J color and SI1/2 clarity. The pendant has a folding bail and retains the original pinstem which disappears nicely when being worn as a pendant. The back is marked “14K.”
