Extremely rare and large sterling figural pin by Abraham Paz, Mexico c.1930. He designed for Fred Davis, so it is clear that this famous design was created by Paz. Here, we see a variation on a theme, with a man wearing a serape and holding a rope. The signature is RARE showing the Paz mark, which this antique dealer has never seen before. It is signed "CAP(stylized) HECHO EN MEXICO D.E. A.PAZ 0.925" and is in excellent condition. Of very good size, it measures 2 3/4" high by 1 5/8" wide...

A fine and vintage sterling silver sautoir necklace c1920-30. This 16-1/8" necklace has a 1-3/4" drop with claw-set pink crystal stones and bezel set white rhinestones. The pink stones are open backed and this necklace has a box clasp; it weighs 5.4 grams and it is stamped STERLING. This classic Art Deco ring is composed of two half-moons of carnelian flanking a vertical row of marcasites. The carnelian is secured by four split prongs, and there is an embossed scroll design along both sides of the shank that shows a bit of wear. The bottom part of the band exhibits a small applied piece of silver, most likely from sizing. The inside of the band is marked sterling. The oval top of the ring measures about 3/4 inch by 5/8 inch. It is sized at a 4 1/4.

A pair of Art Deco 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces with engine-turned engraving of extraordinary quality. Each face depicts a sailboat in the foreground with a small sailboat in the background, the design completed with waves, birds in the sky and a lighthouse atop a rocky coastline. The faces are joined by gold chains. Each face is stamped "14K" and has an unidentified maker's mark.

Made in Mexico Silver necklace of fine workmanship having origins from Mexico City boasting great style. The repousse is with no dents and the fine S links lead off from the lengthy drop. The length is 18 inches but you can hook into a smaller length with the original spring ring. The amethysts are without damage as well. The center piece is approximately 3 inches across and 1.5 inches tall with 67 grams of thick repousse.

This Ernest Steiner pave & black enamel poodle dog brooch is rhodium plated base metal, with rhinestones and enameling. It is hallmarked Ernest Steiner in an oval plaque. It is 1 1/2" square.

Modernist domed enamel bird by Madeline Turner, c.1940's, who studied the enamel process with Karl Drerup. This hand made piece is one of a series by Madeline Turner and can be made into a pin by adding a metal frame. The enamel colors are white, turquoise, dark blue, and green. This Alexander Korda "Thief of Bagdad" fur clip (pin clip) is 1 3/8" x 7/8". It is a fully dimensional man with a crystal marble.

Sir Alexander Korda was a Hungarian born film director and producer. He was the first film director to be knighted. This movie started the trend for collectors wanting jewelry like the pieces worn in the movie. Most of this jewelry was produced by Rice Weiner. This pin is circa 1940 the same time that the film came out.

A bold beautiful Mexican Silver & Amethyst bracelet by the famous Fred Davis. Each of the six heavy sterling silver links is set at the center with a deep purple amethyst cabochon stone. This copper pin is hand-constructed with architectural elements and securely set with a copper disc enameled in turquoise. It features a cone at each corner set on intersecting bands that are curled at each end. The square panel supporting all the pieces has a hammered look with slightly curved corners. There is a deep reddish patina to the copper, and some white areas of oxidation...
