Great carved Bakelite fish with painted eye and lucite fin. Thick and heavy for its size. 3 1/8" wide, 3 1/8" high.

This fine 3-piece set consists of cuff links and a tie bar / clasp. They are sterling silver. Each abacus has beads that actually move - are mechanical. They are 3 dimensional. The cuff links measure, 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/8". The tie bar is just under 2" long. Each piece is marked SILVER STERLING MADE IN HONG KONG. The set is circa 1970 and in excellent condition.

Today I have a Salvador Teran Mexican Silver bracelet that is rarely seen. Each link is built like a shadow box encasing two amethyst cabochons. It has great dimension and creates a strong presence. The links at the tallest is one inch tall and the length is 7in. There is a weight of 83 grams giving the bracelet a very nice heft to the feel. The patina is natural. The safety chain was detached for photography purposes and will be attached when sold. There is no damage to the silver or stones...

A fine, unusual sterling silver and pearl two layered brooch in an abstract design. Inside layer has a darkened patina. Has three small pearls attached to the inside. Curved three dimensional design. Measures 2 3/8" across and 1" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a cutout mark on the back that may indicate the maker, but we do not recognize it. Has a little tarnish. Well constructed, interesting design.

Pre assay Mexico era. Both Maricela and Los Ballesteros and maybe Rafael Melendez along with other Taxco silversmiths have made this style of bench cut - not cast -2 tier cuff bracelet with applied C shape rope elements and "dot" application...

A tiny enameled violet and a free-hanging baroque freshwater pearl enhance the dainty 10K gold pendant, complete with a curb link chain. Violets were used to represent the sentiments of love and faithfulness in the Victorian era. The pearl has nice luster that contrasts prettily with the colors of the enamel. The chain is marked 10K, and the pendant is tested 10K.

Large four link RUSSIAN NIELLO 84 silver bracelet(comes with an extra link), at least from the 19th century, could be older. Has three marks including "84" Russian silver mark. Each link measures 2" by 1 1/4" and the inside circumference is 7 1/2" around. The bracelet has not opening so is made as a bangle. However, there is an extra link that can be added. The "queen" of shadowbox designs, Victoria - otherwise Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti - also excelled in the "married metals" technique. Her work is inspired, of the highest quality and today it is considered part of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance design index. The adjustable sterling silver ring I am presenting here is out of her coveted "angel" parure. The form does not come up very often and I am happy to have come upon a beautifully aged example...

A 14Kt white gold filigree ring from the 1920’s, centered by a 16 X 12 millimeter bezel set oval green onyx intaglio depicting a Roman head. The filigree work is in great condition. The ring is a size 6 ½ and it can easily be sized.

This stunning pin exhibits sophisticated design and quality workmanship. The pronged mounting, composed of curled, incised decorative elements and alternating with prongs and orbs, tests as silver, probably .800 silver content. The decorative elements are applied upon a flat cast frame. The oval blue polished chalcedony, in an open-back setting, has a delicate translucence in the light, and takes on a deep blue-purple cast on an opaque background...

A very fine vintage 14K yellow gold three-stone ring featuring an oval mixed-cut ruby flanked by round brilliant-cut diamonds. All the stones are of very fine quality. The ruby has the pigeon's blood color found in the finest quality stones. It is graded at medium-dark, strong, slightly purplish Red (slpR 6/6); excellent cut; Type II eye-clean clarity; with no indications of heat or other treatment.
