A fabulous example of French glass artistry, these clip earrings have large iridescent finish leaf form green poured glass stones and flower form opaline glass stones prong set in silvertone metal. A very cool brooch by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. This brass brooch measures 2" across and 2 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Signed Peggy Miller on the back. The points are curved up giving the brooch a three dimensional effect. There is some tarnish. Great mid century design.

A beautiful vintage sterling necklace with brilliant rhinestones in channel settings, in flexible links with detailed engraved decoration. Circa 1930. With a slide clasp and safety chain with a spring ring catch. Marked STERLING. Substantial at 53 grams and drapes beautifully. The links are connected at the inner edge and fan open at the outer edge.

Figural brooch pin of a Paul Revere or three cornered hat rider man carrying a stein or beer mug while riding full speed ahead on a horse! Chased.

These Coro cockatoos have been hand painted with enamel. At the center of each flower is a faceted, faux diamond. As you can see by the patent below, this duette was designed by Gene Verrechio and patented in 1941. Pat # for the duette is Des. 126,490 and for the clip #1798867. Coro invented the "Duette" in the 1930s. An ingenious invention. The design involves two pin clips that fit together, joined by a mechanism at the back, so they can be worn together as a single brooch...

Intricate Haskell-like design with twisted rope of seed pearls, four ornate floral overlays, roses montees and safety chain. Wired and prong set. 2 3/8" across inside, 3/4" wide, gold plated. Unsigned but is most likely early Haskell.

A vintage 14Kt white gold and diamond eternity band prong set with 18 brilliant-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all the diamonds is 0.75Ct. The size 6 band is 2.7 millimeter wide and it can NOT be sized.

A great, early copper and silver metal cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large layered stylized fish in the center.

Marked with the stylized Rebajes on the end. Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Could probably be adjusted slightly. Measures 2" wide. There are some spots, areas of tarnish and minor surface scratches to the finish.

Striking hard to find design.

A very fine Art Deco 14K yellow gold necklace of filigree links centering a collet-set carved jadeite disc suspending another filigree link and a large oval plaque of jadeite carved in a floral pattern. The workmanship of the filigree is superior, with finely detailed millegraining on nearly all the surfaces. The use of yellow gold in filigree jewelry of the period is quite unusual, but is very attractive as a foil to the rich green of the gemstones...

This mid-century bracelet is the work of Felipe Martinez, whose Taxco shop was called "Piedra y Plata.

Piedra y Plata opened in 1950 and soon gained a reputation as one of the best silver shops in Taxco...
