A vintage modernist sterling silver pair of earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark, Sterling, style number 115 and FRIDL on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling.

Opposites so frame the face when worn. Thick sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Earrings measure 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Screw backs work fine.

Fine condition with some tarnish and minor surface scratches.

This colorful midcentury pin features a piece of enamel glass set in a frame of sterling silver. The enamel features a central design of three lavender amorphous forms outlined in silver wire, as with cloisonné, on a mottle blue and green background. Decorated in Peruzzi’s rich iconic style, this elaborate pin features cast flowers and wirework elements applied to a scrolled frame. The back is marked for the Italian jeweler Peruzzi, Florence, and for .800 silver. The secure rollover clasp is original to the pin and in good working order. The pin dates from the mid-1950s and measures 2 ¼ inches long by 1 ¾ inches wide. Weight: 21.5 grams

A very unique hand wrought large pendant in sterling silver, by noted MCM silversmith, Ronald Hayes Pearson. Signed Pearson Sterling. The pendant measures 2 3/8" long and 7/8" at the widest. These very rare earrings from Margot de Taxco are a curled ribbon design, with synthetic pink tourmaline stones dangling below. The stones are a star cut, and they are gorgeous. Measuring 2" tall and 15/16" wide, these show up beautifully. Signed and hallmarked "Margot de Taxco 5429 Sterling Made in Mexico", with the eagle assay 16. They have been converted professionally to clips, and they are super comfortable to wear and very secure. Weight is 26.1 grams. In excellent vintage condition.

A vintage 7-1/2" chain link sterling silver charm bracelet with annual sorority charms. It has a snapover clasp and the heart-shaped BETA EPSILON OMEGA charms include those from 1965-1975 inclusive, plus the WELCOME charm, plus two star shaped charms and a bird charm (total of 15 charms). Spratling designed this pin in 1942 as part of a series of items depicting continental solidarity. The pin shows clasped hands superimposed over a gold gilded map of the western hemisphere. This pin was made in two sizes, this being the larger at 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". The fastener is a two pronged clip. Both pin and original fastener are in excellent condition. In 1942 Macy's Dept. Store did an entire window dedicated to this design...

A stunning beaded necklace in carved genuine malachite with genuine coral spacers, with a beautifully detailed pendant in the form of a face or mask. Probably circa 1900 or 1910. Possibly Italian. The pendant is held in a silver frame; the slide clasp is marked 14K. From a Pittsburgh estate.

This brooch has a wonderful design. It is circular with a stamped and engraved border and a central star design. Its diameter is 1 1/4". It is hallmarked with the stylized k (for the year 1909), the anchor (for Birmingham) and The Lion Passant (for 925 sterling silver). It also has the hallmark S & Co., representing the silversmith. It is in excellent condition.

This bar pin is an original period piece from the 1920’s. The top is made of 14Kt white gold and the bottom is yellow gold. The open filigree work is typical of the above mentioned period. The center of the design is enhanced by an approximately 0.08Ct full cut diamond. The length of the pin is 2 3/8” and the width is ¼”. The clasp is clearly marked 14Kt incorporated into the maker’s mark.

Fantastic mid-Victorian demi-parure composed of a brooch and matching earrings. The brooch is set with pyramid-cut onyx accented with seed pearls in a millegrained mounting. The earrings feature onyx circles surrounding briolette-cut onyx drops, all hanging from kite-shaped onyx and pearl surmounts. Originally intended as mourning jewelry, this set continues to be very versatile and wearable. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.

This late 19th-century hinged bangle is a real beauty. It’s made of 14-karat gold, set with 18 half-pearls that are enhanced with cobalt-blue enamel. The back of the bracelet is simply decorated with a raised, thin gold band that terminates at both ends with a figure-8. Both rims have recesses along the edges all the way around. Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. We have a superb Los Castillo 18in. long necklace to offer today. The links are 1 3/8ths tall making for a striking presence. The stones have no cracks or chips and also have no striations that come to the surface of the amethyst. The color is a beautiful mix of milky swirl and jelly purple. Properly hallmarked as shown with the old linear mark for Los Castillo when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. Definitely a collectors treasure.
