While art show posters are not all that rare, this one was issued in a limited edition of 100 as annotated on the poster in pencil lower left. The main image was signed in the plate by the artist. Rare and nostalgic chromolithograph entitled Yuletide in Canada shows a boy pushing a girl in a sled bedecked with mistletoe. The frame , almost as important as the image, has a faux mahogany finish with gold liner, and is quite old. The back is thin wood. The condition of the print appears good with a couple of foxing spots at the bottom, but should be rematted, preferably using the current framing, as it is rather discolored...

From a set of lithographs, Paris Dans sa Splenour, published in 1861, titled, “LE NOUVEAU LOUVRE/Vue prise du Palais Tuileries.” The printer and lithographer are shown in details of the lower left and right corners. The image without printing is 9 7/8 by 14 ½ inches (25 x 27 cm), the page 13 ¼ by 19 ¼ inches (34 x 49 cm).

Condition; some rubbing to the surface and some of what look to be ink spots. New frame and acid free mat and backing.
