An early twentieth century bronze bust of President Abraham Lincoln, in a modernist or brutalist style. This piece was most likely a unique cast and is mounted on its’ original wood pedestal. The bust measuring h;19”,w; 11”,d; 14”. With the pedestal, the sculpture measures approximately 69”. Magnificent patina and a spectacular piece that was showcased in an exhibit that traveled the many sojourns of the late president….

Irma Rothstein was born in Rostoff, Russia, and studied art in Vienna before emigrating to the United States in 1938. She sculpted the busts of celebrities such as George Bernard Shaw, Hermann Broch, Alexandre Gretchaninoff, Ernest Hemingway, etc...

An antique 19th century bronze relief sculpture by Claude Bouvet (1755 - 1813) depicts Napoleon Bonaparte, in a standing pose presenting the Cross of the Legion of Honor at the Camp de Boulogne.

Napoleon is depicted in his favorite uniform as Colonel of Chasseurs Cheval de la Garde Imperial, complete with epaulets, the Cross of the Legion of Honour on his chest, and a sword at his side...

Delicately and intricately crafted antique figure of a young aristocrat, proudly standing with both hands in the vest's pocket, signed "Buder", 12 inches in height including marble base. Bronze mounted to a marble base signed on verso with the stamp medallion of Original Bronzes Society Paris France. Measurements 4.25ʺW × 3.25ʺD × 7.5ʺH. Georges Van der Straeten was a Belle Epoque sculptor born in Ghent, Belgium, on December 21, 1856. He studied under the Neo-Baroque sculptor Jef Lambeaux (1852-1908)...

Antoniucci Volti, French, 1915-1989. This outstanding bronze is a nude woman sitting on the ground and bent over. It is bronze dark brown/black patina with touches of green. Inscribed "Volti" and Epreuve d' Artiste 2/2" and "Susse Fond Paris." Width 9" Hight 5 1/2." It is in perfect condition and has excellent provenance from Galerie Cardan, Paris, 1976. He has an extensive listing in Benezit. He worked in France and his work is in the Musee D'Art Moderne in Paris...
