The work could possibly be by JEAN PIERRE JOSEPH ALFRED BELLET DU POISAT (1823-1883), but further research may be required to confirm the artist. Measurements are 13" by 9 3/4" (20 1/2" by 16 3/4" in old gold frame)...

This is an unsigned 19th century copy of the Francois Boucher original that was acquired by The Louvre, in Paris, in 1852. This copy was probably created within twenty-five years after Boucher painted his original.

Unframed oil on canvas, 54" by 35", unsigned, the work an antique (likely 18th century, possibly earlier?) copy of the great TITIAN (TIZIANO VECELLI, c.1488-1576) altarpiece "Assassination of Saint Peter Martyr", 1528-1529, of the church of SS Giovanni e Paolo, Venice, destroyed in the 19th Century. A 1691 copy by Johann Carl Loth now hangs in its place. This truly antique survivor shows its advanced age...

A set of EIGHT small paintings on Masonite, the largest as framed 8 1/4" by 6", the smallest 6 3/4" by 5 3/4", all signed at lower right corner by artist "J. (or possibly "S") Parraga". The works date to about the 1960's or early 1970's. The artist had obviously been witness to many bullfights, having studied the matador suit of lights, the decorated barbed banderillas, anatomy of the bull, and sun-washed stands...
