Anatole Henri de Beaulieu, French, 1819-1884. This stunning and exotic painting is a wonderful example of the barbizon school in France. It is oil on canvas signed lower left in a very wide impressive 19th c original frame. It is 48.5" W by 27.5" H and framed is 65.5" W by 44.5" H. It appears to be a sunset scene in the orientalist manner of the 19th C, probably a scene in northern Africa. His paintings sell for up to $80,000.
