This is a large watercolor circa 1920 by Edgar PRITCHARD. This is a large 11 by 15 1/2 watercolor of a fall scene just after the sun has gone down leaving a afterglow in the sky. Colors are bright and fresh I do not think it was ever framed. We have it shrink wrapped with a creamy tan mat.I have been informed by a distant relative of Edgar Pritchard that this is by him and not by one of the English artists named Pritchard who died earlier.
In original frame, 20.5" x 25", inscribed to the memory of Susannah Osborn, Susannah Southwick and Ebenezar Southwick, (apparently from Peabody, Massachusetts.)
Appears to be an early 20thC watercolor. Framed under glass - the mat has faded. Signed EBMS in the lower right corner. Not examined out of the frame. 12-1/2" x 10".
