Original etching (8" x 11") by William A. Eskey (California/ 1891-1937), signed in pencil L.R. and titled L.L. (Circa 1930). Eskey's etchings are in the collection of the San Francisco Museum of Fine Art. It is framed in a wonderful Arts and Crafts frame, but has been examined out of the frame and is in excellent original condition.
Peter Moran, American, 1842-1914, "Through the Meadows". This is a beautiful, richly inked original etching by Peter Moran, image size 13 x 19 7/8 inches, published in 1886 by Klackner. It is state IV/IV, cat: Wright-92, pencil signed and titled on the lower margin. This image is listed with the title "Through the Meadow Stream" in the Wright catalog, although there are several alternate titles including the one that appears on this impression.

The image size measures 8 1/5 x 12 3/8 inches with adequate margins. Printed in 1934 in an edition of 80 it is plate signed and dated and also hand signed in pen and ink. Manuel Robbe, French, 1872-1936, Le Cabinet de Toilette, etching, aquatint and drypoint, early black and white proof, image size 17 1/2 x 11 3/4 inches, pub. 1904, ed. of 65, Chase 17, pencil signed "Manuel Robbe" l.r. Robbe worked with several artists (Muller, Raffaelli, Villon) in the late 1800's in the color aquatint medium. In many of his works he captures personal moments in peoples daily activities. Working in the "Belle Epoque" style his colors were soft and atmospheric.

Printed in sepia toned ink on Whatman laid paper, it is ink signed and numbered and also plate signed, dated and titled. Briscoe is known as the finest marine etcher of the 20th. century.
