Prentiss Taylor, American, 1907-1991, "Women's Club Carnival". A whimsical scene by Prentiss Taylor created in 1950. It is pencil signed, dated, numbered and titled on the lower margin. Taylor was an illustrator, lithographer and painter studying at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and then at the Arts Student League in NYC. Comprises 48 separate sheets when pieced together making a total map/mural size of approximately 14' wide by 7.5' high. In very good condition.
Lucien Jonas, French, 1880-1947, "The Rampart of Verdun". This is a dramatic lithograph of a group of soldiers in the midst of battle in France during WWI. The image size is 17 x 11 7/8 inches, 1916, hand signed and numbered, framed. Lucien Jonas was an official military artist in France during WWI and traveled extensively through the front lines, creating many paintings, drawings and prints depicting the heroism and bravery of the soldiers on the front lines.
This Litho is number 32/75 it is in great condition. There are a few scratches on the frame that can easily be buffed. It measures 24” X 32” framed and 22 ¼” X 30” unframed.

Joseph Pennell, American, 1857-1926, "The Walls of Pedro Miguel Lock". From Pennells' "Panama Canal Series", this lithograph measures 17 1/2 x 22 inches. Cat: Weurth 233. Pencil signed. From January, 1912 to March of that year, Pennell spent sketching in the depths of the final construction of this massive undertaking. At times he wondered if its' vastness was possible to capture on paper...
