Wonderful framed under glass illustration by Hugh Thomson dated 1797 with the title The Wedding In Pink for Pears Soap. The illustrated print is gorgeous with a beautiful wedding party with guests in a church. Hugh Thomson was a prolific illustrator best known for his Jane Austin illustrations. The frame measures 13.75" by 11". The backing has been replaced with acid resistant paper and new hanging hardware. Very hard to find!

This the smaller version of the original is a playful image of a red orange colored sun with waving rays emanating from a bulls eye center. It is one of six images produced for this series. An embossed cache is located in the lower right corner and it reads “The Flying Color Collection 1975”.

A beautiful framed chromolithograph by James Hardy of a young huntsman hunting game with his 2 retriever dogs. James Hardy was a British painter (1832-1889) and the chromolithograph dates to the 19th Century. The chromolithograph measures about 14" x 18" and has a gilt matte and frame. The frame has some paint missing with some chips and scratches. It has a hanger on the back for easy hanging.
