This bronze medallion is signed by Therese Dufresne, and is dated on the side 1979, with an impressed figure and "Br Flor", most likely referring to the foundry. It is 3 1/4" in diameter, 1/2" thick, and weighs a hefty 17 ounces. One side depicts numerous buildings and skyscrapers, including the Chrysler Building, the Arch at Washington Square, what appears to be one of the World Trade Center towers, and possibly other identifiable buildings...

Dramatic bronze sculpture by Erte. "Victoire" was the first of a 24 piece series
made in 1980. Victoire was an edition of 250 sculptures, 12 AP and 9 HC. Measurements are 18" high, 10 inches wide and 6 inches in depth. This piece comes out of a private collection and is a one owner piece purchased in Chicago in 1980. The sculpture is numbered 209/250 and is impressed, "RKPINT.CORP. c. 1980" and signed with Erte's distinctive signature.

This is absolutely fabulous! A large highly detailed 19th Century Bronze sculpture of a dog. I don't know what breed, but the musculature is exquisite. It measures approximately 8" in height including the black marble base and approx. 8 1/4" in length. Excellent condition.
