this is a very impressive carved stone American Bald eagle-made from several different colored stones-marble and alabaster-good size 21.5 inches high-12 inches wide-8 inches deep-has glass inset eyes-appears to be a very small plug in top--uncertain as to origin-most likely Italian-no condition problem-about 70 years old-weighs over 50 pounds
Original marble sculpture by Theodor Mallener (Czech, 1892-1978). Mallener is a Czech sculptor born in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia. He apparently spent part of his life in Germany, where he died (Schwabmunchen, Bavaria) in 1972. He is listed mainly in Czech sources. Contemporary jadeite carving of a fairy spirit named Liu-Hai. His right hand is holding a three legged frog called ¡°Chan¡±; a string of clouds extends from Chan¡¯s mouth. On the back of the carving is a large fan and on the top of the fan sits a lucky bat. Very interesting carving in good condition.

A rare 16th Century AVA Period Limestone Head of Buddha (Burma 1287 - 1752) with sweeping eyebrows and downcast eyes, typical for the Ava period-style, well modeled lips and elongated ears. Carved in high relief as most likely originally set against a back slab. Condition: good except one area of left cheek next to ear shows a little concussion as well as a spot on top of head. This head has been nicely mounted on a black stand. Size: H. 17cm x W. 12cm x D. 10cm, excluding stand.
Extremely fine genuine Tiger's Eye stone carving of the Chinese Goddess of Mercy. Excellent coloring, carving and chatoyancy. Mint condition. Circa early 1900's. Measures 7" Tall, and 3 1/2 Wide.
Contemporary jadeite carving. This is a very nice newer carving. The color is unusual, light blue green with a little amber spread here and there. Carved as an ear of corn with the husk peeled off, a small plant (maybe pepper) is carved around the bottom.
