Measuring49" wide and 21" inches high, this signed wall sculpture by Curtis Jere is dated '72, and depicts sailboats in the background, a dock in the foreground, and sea gulls both overhead and sitting on the railings. Good condition, with some tarnish evident on the sails of the boats, and good clear signature. Modernist, abstracted style, this sculpture is quite dramatic and works well with 20th century design and furniture.

This is a beautifully and intricately hand carved oval plaque depicting Christ, made ca. 1910/20. This was bought from a South Carolina plantation. This piece was made by putting together several scraps of wood that were then hand carved by a plantation worker, who might have been an amateur but it is truly a masterfully done piece of folk art. It comes ready to hang.
