Original marble sculpture by Ruth Ingeborg Andris (Chicago, 1930-2014). 12" high including square wood base, 7" wide. Ruth Andris is known as a Chicago sculptor and artist. She studied at the AIC, at the Chicago Academy of Fine Art, and with sculptor Cosmo Campoli. Her works in stone and bronze were exhibited at the AIC, the Ceres Gallery in New York, the Peace Museum, the Benjamin Galleries, etc.

Cathy Gropper, born in Cleveland Ohio, received an M.A. at Columbia in NYC, where she studied with Larry Rivers, Elaine de Kooning, and Milton Resnick. She later taught at Columbia, and is known for both painting and sculpture. This bronze face measures 5 1/2" high, is fairly heavy (four pounds and about three ounces), and has two screw holes in the base where it was likely mounted to a base. The ornament carved from transparent tri-color jadeite, depicting Guanyin and auspicious items amidst clouds, cleverly carved utilizing the brown russet and slight green amidst transparent color, the top ornate with diamond, jadeite, and ruby stones.
This is a lovely original bronze bust of a woman by the well listed Belgian artist Georges Van Der Straeten 1856-1941.It is 16 inches tall and is in a dark brown chocolate patina with no problems. It has a set in seal of the Society Des Bronzes of paris and is numbered 2488 P.This is a somewhat less common model than most of his works

Fabulous Giuliano Tosi / Vittore Frattini glass sculpture. Internally decorated with a large air bubble, which bands of colour swirl. The sculpture measures approximately 14.5cm high and is 16.5cm wide and weighs very nearly 2kg. The base is signed by both Giuliano Tosi and Vittore Frattini and dated is 16.2.2001. The base also has silver applied letters, which look to be IS CSC. Maybe these are from a gallery or exhibition. The last letter has shifted but I think was a capital “C”...
