This beautiful hand-painted miniature portrait on ivory of a woman is in the original brass filigreed frame and measures 4 3/4" long by 4" wide. Unframed, the portrait measures 3 1/2" long by 2 3/4" wide. The artist's signature looks to be "Kirchner".

This is a wonderful Germany ivory portrait miniature of Anna Elisabetha Luisa Ferdinandi princess Prussian. On her shoulders there is an ermine mantle. The miniature sign by Jany. The colors, tones and shadowing of the miniature are incredible. The miniature is framed in bronze-gilt oval frame. The miniature has original bunchy glass. On the reverse of the miniature is written 1786 and letters j.e.r (I think it is the initials of the artist). Size of a miniature is 3”1/2’x 2"3/4'.

This is a wonderful 18-19 Century Russian or French ivory box in neoclassical style with high quality hand painted ivory miniature of the sitting lady with the birds on the top of the box. The miniature placed in brass frame. The colors, tones and shadowing of the miniature are incredible. The box made inside from tortoise. According to the age the box has the small chips. I didn’t find a signature. Dimension of a box is: diameter 2"3/8', thickness 1".

English School portrait miniature of a young boy, in watercolor on ivory, circa 1820. The charming young man wears a black coat, a cream waistcoat, a white chemise and a black ribbon tie. He has lovely rosy lips and cheeks; there's a nice blue to sky. The portrait is set into a red leather traveling case. Sight size 3"; case measures 3 3/8". Condition is good: case is very worn inside and on the outer hinge area. Minor dust, one flake to his tie.
