Finely executed oil on board by Dutch artist Jacob Van Dieghem. c.1870. Approximately 6 5/8" x 9 1/2" WITHOUT the frame. WITH the frame it measures 11" x 13 3/4". Signed lower left, Jb. Van Dieghem 1870. There are 3 sheep. The mother standing and 2 young lying down on a hillside overlooking a valley. Jacob Van Dieghem was a popular 19th century landscape painter. Circa 1980 European Landscape signed by the artist. Raymond Quence was born in the United States in 1932 and to my knowledge is still living. I have take a few closeups of this artists signature. Even though Quence was born in America, most of his painting were painted in Europe. This painting's canvas measures 29" X 24".
