This is a large, framed oil on canvas by the hand of Emil Pap (1884-?), the noted Hungarian listed painter. Frame measures 38" by 48" by 3" and exposed canvas measures 28.5" by 38.5". Professionally mounted in an ornate, gilt wood frame with paper backing. This fine oil on canvas is attributed to the Hungarian painter, Antal Jancsek (1907-1985). Depicted is a mother and her children playing on a beach with sailboats in the distance. Laslo Neogrady Hungarian artist, many listings davenports etc. Set in original 3 1/2" frame which has some minor damage. Painting itself is 24x30". Beautiful river scene with flowers and trees. Nice depth to painting, muted use of greens with flower colors of purple & yellow standing out.

19TH Century Oil on Canvas, without frame of a child dressed in a European attire holding a sheep's staff with mountains in the background. The boy's eyes will just jump out at you. This kid looks REAL!!! Paint missing in a few spots and overall painting could use a cleaning. Add to that a nice frame, and you have a nice gallery painting that would stop visitors in their tracks as they will think they are looking at a real person. The canvas measures 14" X 18 1/4".
