Has a couple of tiny paint flecks - otherwise, good condition. The artist studied with Hans Hoffmann in Munich. His first one man exhibition was at the Galerie Ravin-Raspail, followed by many others. Beautiful Oil on Board Painting view from a courtyard showing interesting doorways and steps. On reverse " Hauts de Cagnes Cote d'Azur 1970." Not it's original frame, but a nice one for it. The frame is gilt with some chips in the gilt. The painting itself is in excellent condition. Lots of blue and roses together with muted purples. It just makes you want to open the doors or walk up the steps!
