TRES Lovely! Boat in Lakes Cove! This antique Oil Painting from France. Original frame, not signed, but estimated to be late 1800's. Has just a bit of surface damage but you can hardly see it and it does not distract from it's charm. Measures 14 3/4" x 18" framed. Would be beautiful in any room of your Chateau!

Marcel Dyf was born in Paris on the 7th October 1899. As a youth he was influenced by the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist movements that he observed in Paris and Normandy, where he spent his holidays. He started a career in engineering but in his early twenties he decided to become an artist. He moved to Arles in Provence where he bought a studio and began zealously painting the inspirational.
