19TH Century signed Seascape Watercolor Painting measuring 5 3/4" X 9" mounted in a gold gilded frame and double matted. Overall size is 14 3/4" X 12". The painting, which is in perfect condition, depicts a rugged coastline with the silhouette of a old building on the rise. You can also see a couple of sailing ships on the horizon. Title: "Billiard Game" Size: 11 x 17 1/6 Size with Frame: 23 x 31 *Belisario Gioia was a watercolorist who painted familiar and popular character scenes, (Peintre de Genre). This form of painting was usually executed in France, but was adopted by other countries. As a result of this change, the whole world's economy was effected and it literally changed the composition of paintings. He is listed in the E. Benezit Dictionary of Painters, Sculptors and Engravers.
