Echo Four Masted Barkentine by Richetti c1932. This watercolour depicts the Echo, a four masted barkentine of 707 tons and 950 M capacity, built at North Bend, Ore., in 1896 by and for the Simpson Lumber Co. In 1916 she was taken over by A. F. Thane and C., San Franciso and was sold by them in February, 1923, to Robert Purdie, San Francisco.
