A mezzo tint by modern master, Ken Tsuji , numbered 16 of 85, dated 1985. The print is 13 inches x 12 1/2 inches and the image measures 4 and three quarters inches x four and five eights inches. Mint condition. The image is a somewhat abstract mezzotint design of three bottles against a skyline and a plaid band at the bottom; with a luminous new moon riding high in the sky. This is a great double page wood engraving image from a scarce 1865 issue of Frank Leslies newspaper.It shows 27 different fire engines used in New York and names them all.It is in great cond. with a few minor spots and wrinkles. Leslies paper is much rarer than Harper's Weekly. There is only one complete set in institutions in the Us. This is the best image of this type you will ever find.
