This engraved print is entitled LES THERMES DE DIOCLETIEN A ROME (at top), VUE PERSPECTIVE … RESTAURATION (at bottom). It depicts the Baths of Diocletian (Thermae Diocletiani) which were the grandest of the Roman public baths. Lower right reads A. GUILLAUMOT PERE SC. Below "VUE…" it reads "Imp. Ch. Chardon" indicating the engraver, Charles Chardon who worked in the late 19th century in Paris. Below "RESTAURATION…" it reads Firmin-Didot & Cie. Editeurs. At the lower left it reads E. PAULIN DEL.
