Original etching by Anders Zorn (1860-1920), one of the leading artist in the period around 1900 and one of the leading modern masters of etching. The etching is called 'three sisters', and it was made in 1913 as part of a series Hjert&Hjert 268. Signed in pencil. Reference: Asplund 258. Size: 18 3/4 inches x 14 1/4 inches.
Size of print plate: 9 3/4 inches x 7 inches.
Perfect condition, no damages.

MARC MOUCLIER. Portrait of the poet Millevoye, etching and drypoint with watercolor on wove paper, 9" x 6 3/4" (228 x 170mm.)(image), 12" x 8 7/8" (305 x 225mm.)(sheet), signed in the plate. Edges of the sheet slightly darkened, a few soft creases in the blank margins, the sheet hinged with two small pieces of acid-free tape along its left side, verso. Unframed. From "La Génie des Poètes Françaises," 1903, an album of 25 portraits. Hand-colored sheets by the artist are rare.
