This extremely well done Art Deco bronze figure was likely done anywhere between the 1910s and the 1920s. The nude appears to be a mythological figure who is so fluid and graceful looking that she should have graced the hood of an automobile. Dimensions are 10-5/8 inches tall overall including the 3-5/8 inch round base; the bronze itself is 9 inches in height. There are letters stamped on her arm, but they are not familiar. This bronze sculpture by Andre Vincent Becquerel (1893-1981) depicts a seagull in flight and is signed " A Becquerel ". Onyx stone base. Purchased in France many years ago by our client. Measures 24.75" by 5" by 19" (62.75 cm by 12.5 cm by 48 cm). We have no additional images at this time, but would be happy to take and forward additional shots for any potential buyers.
