This is a wonderful bronze sculpture of Japanese origin dating back to the Meiji period. This fine artwork portrays Benten, the Japanese Goddess of art and music. We see the beautiful deity holding up a Biwa, a Japanese four-stringed lute. CONDITION: Very good ORIGINAL as found condition. NO RESTORATION!. SIZE: Height is 10 inches.
