Original abstract bronze sculpture by David E. Davis (Romanian-born, Ohio-based American sculptor, 1920-2002). This bronze is in excellent condition. It is mounted on a black base which measures 4" by 8" while the sculpture itself is 7" high and 5" wide. The work is signed in the bronze "David E. Davis". The Marble Sculpture measures 18" tall x 9" at the base. This appears to be a Sculpture by Constantin Brancusi.(1876-1957). This Sculpture was purchased from an Estate in Highland Park in Dallas, Texas. It was used as a decoration for a private pool at that particular Estate. This Abstract Sculpture is not signed. More information will be added later.

Original and early ceramic sculpture by Dorothy Elaine Robbins (American-Israeli/ 1920-1999), circa 1950, in excellent condition. This sculpture has an incised signature. It measures 17" by 13" by 9" base not included. Ohio born Robbins studied at Cranbrook and at the Cincinnati Academy of Art. This 9.75" t. x 11.5" x 10.75" hand-carved wooden sculpture of a cow and her calf is a fine example of Haitian art. The entire piece seems to have been carved from a single block of wood and then polished by hand, where the artist desired to do so. The mother is tethered to a stump, and you can see the rope trail off behind her. The ground is nicked and textured, and also has some greenish patination.
