This beautifully crafted alabaster sculpture of a clown holding a mandolin is signed and is believed to date from the early twentieth century. Signature has not been deciphered, and we have shown below an image of a pencil rubbing of the signature. The figurine measures 15.5" high, 5.5" wide and 5" deep and weighs an estimated 8-12 lbs. This item resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment.
