Copeland Spode during the mid-20TH Century
reproduced the very collectible chinese export fitzhugh. Over the past decade or so it has become very popular especially in blue and white. We have been buying it whenever it becomes available. This is a Copeland/Spode Lighthouse Coffee Pot with four demitasse cups with matching saucers. This large lighthouse coffee pot is in excellent condition. It measures 11" in height. It is shown with four demitasse cups and saucers.

Spode has been a English Porcelain Maker since the Early 19th Century. Chinese Export Fitzhugh was made in the late 18TH and Early 19TH Century which was made for the English Market. It was made in six colors. Since it was very popular Spode in the late 20TH Century reproduced it and was marketed in department stores in the United States as well as all over the world. This is a 3 piece setting of children's china by Lynn Chase, entitled, Jungle Party, Too. This set was a gift that was never used. There is no box. There are all types of animals featured on the set from all around the world. This porcelain nurseryware set consists of sandwich plate, weighted bowl and mug.
Each piece has Lynn Chase's marks, and year(1993). The bowl and plate also have her statement:
"This playful environment is home to baby animals from around the world."

A Modern Chinese Export Blue and White Huge Punch Bowl measuring
15 3/4" in diameter and 6" in depth. This is a copy of a 19TH. Century Blue Nanking/Canton Punch Bowl. Notice the pagoda and the person crossing the bridge. Has all the attributes of the old bowls but can easily be identified as a 20th century bowl. No marks on the bottom. We purchased it a few years ago at Elder's Auctions a well known auction house in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This bowl makes a great presence in the dining room... Click for details
