Pardon the hyperbole, but this is the most original bead laden, non sterling, largest nouveau deco ish necklace this person has ever designed and assembled. Massive! Sometimes one sees a piece of 'hardware', as in this circa 1890 brass Art Nouveau escutcheon with butterfly figural motif, and the creative person knows instantly what to create...

Patrice, elegant as always!The necklace is composed of Hsiu jade, red adventurine and natural agate beads with brass. The clip earrings are composed of red and green adventurine with amethyst and brass. The pendant back is as beautiful as the front so that it may be worn either way. Necklace is 19" end to end, pendant is 2" in diameter and the earrings are 1 1/8" in diameter.

Elegant single strand necklace by Maya. Contemporary American designer Maya uses semi precious stones, pearls, crystals and antiqued metal when creating her jewelry. In this lovely necklace she has combined Canada jade, fresh water stick pearls, citrine nuggets and bronze colored metal. Result? Fabulous! Total length end to end is 35". Jade rectangles are 1 1/2" by 1" and are 1/8" thick. Oval metal tag with Maya signature attached.

Maya uses yellow turquoise and green garnets in combination with faceted crystal beads and ornate metal beads. Ornate and dramatic. Shorter strand is 19" with a 3" extension. Gold plated brass pendant is 4" long and hangs over the longer strand.

Charming piece by Patrice is composed of vintage German glass, abalone and yellow jade with brass on a 24K 17" gold plated flat chain. Note the beautiful design of the metal work both on the front and the back of the pendant. Pendant is 3" by 2 1/2" and is chunky.

Here is a collar-style necklace with a great modernist look by Ed Levin, who died in 2008. It is set with a cabochon amethyst, and made of a gilded metal. The result is a coppery finish; inside the collar is Levin’s name in script letters and ‘Bronze.’ The well-designed collar is quite comfortable and lies nicely at the base of the neck. It measures 3/8 inch at the front, its widest area, and about 14 inches inside circumference.

Robert Sorrell has only created seven of these necklaces, each hand made by him and each slightly different from the other. He calls this his "scarf". An elegant 17" vintage gold plated signed Christian Dior necklace with purple and white rhinestones c1980s. This necklace features a 1" x 3/4" central drop with a teardrop amethyst coloured foil-backed rhinestone; it has a snap-over catch with an open link extension for length adjustment.
