Ikkan-bari is a Japanese traditional craft which is: many layers of washi (Japanese handmade paper) are pasted on the bamboo or wood frame, or wood or clay mold. Beautiful 1980s modernist sterling silver collar necklace with what look like brass or bronze accents from the Dulce Plateros silver workshop in Taxco Mexico. This shop was established in 1984. Marked DULCE, 925, TC-51 and MEXICO. Hook close on one side. The front pieces feel hollow. Substantial at 77 grams. Wearable length is 15 1/2 inches and the center drop is 2 1/8 inches. Here is a very pretty ring with a triangular synthetic alexandrite and 2 full-cut diamond accent stones. The stone is a steel blue in daylight, and a pretty purple in incandescent light, with teal blue flashes; it measures ¼” per side. Size 7-3/4, and easily sized.
