Very large molded Lucite beads are detailed in gold and mounted in heavy filigree caps, and connected with S shaped links. Top quality and beautifully made. Heavy and gorgeous, this Matl necklace was produced by Ricardo Salas. Ricardo Salas worked with his aunt, Matilde Poulat. After her death in 1960 he continued producing her designs, as well as his own.

Each of the twenty-two panels have a pyramidal amethyst framed with twelve turquoise cabochons. It's nice and long, measuring 18 1/2" without the tongue portion of the clasp. Width is 13/16"...
