Pardon the hyperbole, but this is the most original bead laden, non sterling, largest nouveau deco ish necklace this person has ever designed and assembled. Massive! Sometimes one sees a piece of 'hardware', as in this circa 1890 brass Art Nouveau escutcheon with butterfly figural motif, and the creative person knows instantly what to create...

Here is a well-made and nicely conceived silver pin by an unknown studio jeweler. The triangular base is impressed with a geometric pattern enhanced by oxidized surfaces of various metallic shades. A convex silver disk is mounted on the panel at a jaunty angle for contrast. The pin has a commercial rollover clasp in good working order. The back bears no mark except for a K in a triangle, most likely a maker's mark. It measures just under 2 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high by 1/4 inch deep...

A Dorothy Bauer LIMITED EDITION, number 56/120. Lovely Austrian crystal large stones in sparkling bright colors. All stones are prong set, and the form is constructed and soldered by hand. The Bauer cartouche is on the back and 56/120 is scratched on the base. The round base allows the tree to be free standing so it may be used as a delightful decoration when not being worn. This bangle, no. 314, is striking. Designed by Annette Kraen for Georg Jensen, it is open at one part of the curved silver band and has five disks worked into the design. Such a dramatic bangle is rarely seen. I've not seen any since I bought it in 1986. Seven years earlier, in 1979, the bangle was first launched. It is no longer in production.
