Fun chenille chick in a pink pressed paper Easter Egg. Used as an Easter table decoration, it might also have been used as a candy container for jelly beans or other small candies. Unmarked, probably Japanese, circa 1930's. Great condition, except that some of the paper is unwiding from the wire feet. 2-1/2" tall.

A delightful vintage Halloween bisque figure in the form of a broom-carrying witch and her black cat. Items such as this were used as table decorations, but it’s also possible that they were filled with small candies through the hole in the bottom, then sealed with paper and given as party favors. The witch, with her pasty complexion, gaping mouth, and crossed eyes really looks more like a space alien than a traditional witch...

This Matchless star Christmas light has red glass prisms and a red glass gem. The base is bakelite and the bulb is C-6. These star lights were manufactured by the Matchless Electic Co. of Chicago, circa 1930. The lights are 2 inches in diameter and in working condition. 4 available in this color combination. Condition: excellent.

A delightful German Christmas candy container in the shape of a pear. The container was made from composition, then painted and finished with a coat of wax to add a realistic soft sheen. The interior of the pull-out base is marked "Germany."

Just in time for Christmas. This mint condition Santa Claus is made of felt with fur beard and trim. This is a 1953 replica and includes the Stieff tag. The molded face shows a happy, jolly Santa. He measures 12 inches high.

Really fun hard plastic Easter Bunny bank. The rabbit is dressed in a baseball uniform, complete with a ball cap. He holds a baseball bat and a ball. Unmarked, but probably by Rosbro. Circa 1950s. Excellent condition. 11-3/4" tall.

Vintage Halloween paper napkin in the hard-to-find cocktail size. The edges are scalloped (also an unusual feature). The design features a group of black cats singing to an audience of jack o'lanterns and bats. Circa late 1920s. Condition: excellent. Size: 9-1/2" x 9-1/2".

A colorful antique iron Christmas feather tree stand decorated with three gnomes dancing under a mushroom. In German folklore the mushroom was considered a good luck omen and it frequently pops up as a motif in antique German Christmas decorations. The stand is heavy enough to hold a very large feather tree...

Very good vintage beaded glass Christmas ornament in the shape of a bicycle. The body is silver with red and blue accents and the tires are yellow. Czech, circa 1920s. Condition: excellent. Size: 4" long.

Vintage blown glass accordian Christmas ornament. Two sides of the accordian show the keyboards while the other two sides show the bellows. Germany, 1930s. Excellent silvering and paint. No cracks or chips. 3-1/4" tall.

Terrific vintage Santa Clause figure with composition face and boots, felt and satin costume, standing on a mica-covered base. The is a nice example in a good size. Japan, circa 1930. 7" tall. Excellent condition, a little bending to the cardboard base.

Super vintage celluloid pop-up toy. It's one of the cutest celluloid Easter items I've seen. Mrs. Chick is dresed in a blue and white polka dot dress that conceals a coiled spring that allows her to bob up and down. All her costume is original. Unmarked, but probably American. Circa 1920s. Outstanding condition, no holes or dents. 4" tall.
