A scarce 4-1/4" vintage late 1930s-mid 1940s Mary Grayo stoppered glass fur perfume bottle with the original label. This company was in business in Monte Carlo for a very short time, from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. The label has losses but the Mary Grayo name is mostly quite legible; the bottle is molded with a 45 on the bottom. Circa 1900. Not often found Art Nouveau lady motif in a cheroot or cigar leather case. The lady is holding up a lily over her head and does not have the usual flowing hair, but what appears to be a bob with a fringe? So is that Art Deco? Early 20's? She is not quite nude, though her pelvic region is rather defined, but wearing a scoop neck, cap sleeve, long dress that hugs then flows around her feet. Where are the bosoms? Much confusion here.

A vintage c1920s Buchanan & Lyall Just Suits Cut Plug tobacco tin. This 7-1/2 x 5 4-1/2" tin has orange/red graphics with gold, it has a carrying handle and a side locking tab, and the lid opens up. This item is in very good condition with no bends losses, damage or repairs other than a dent on one spine, some minor spotting to the graphics, some minor rusting to the interior, and some dulling and residues on the lid.
